Operation Love is non-denominational outreach effort. Often times, when people think about having a ministry or ministering, they usually think of "pulpit" or church. Having a pulpit platform is only one form of ministry.

Ministry simply means to serve and we have been commissioned by Christ to go out into the world and serve. That is every Believers charge. You do not have to be called to Pastor to serve. You do not to be a renown evangelist to serve. You do not have to be some Guru to serve. Everyone is called to serve. The collective contribution of average individuals is more effective than one person trying to reach masses of people.

No one hungry is really interested in hearing about how much God loves them. Hunger pains affect the hearing! We are to show them how much God loves them by meeting their basic need! Isn't that what Jesus did? He fed thousands of hungry people first before he said anything to them about anything. He did not query them about their situation. He did not ask them a hundred and one questions about why they were hungry. He saw they were hungry and He fed them and He did not need an act of congress to do it. He just did it!

So in essence, that is what Operation Love is about. Hitting the streets, meeting the need and then sharing the message of hope and inspiration.
